Product Information: Sona folic acid provides 400 g of this b vitamin which is necessary for maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, cell division and blood formation folic acid is also important for homocysteine metabolism, normal psychological functions, normal amino acid synthesis, the immune system, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue it is recommended that a supplement of 400Aµg of folic acid should be taken daily before and during pregnancy to help prevent neural tube defects (Ntds), such as spina bifida, in infants a certain amount of folic acid will be sourced from the diet from foods including brussels sprouts, kale, spinach, beans and peas but it is very difficult to attain the recommendation of 400Aµg through diet alone also important for males, particularly those over 45 years of age, as folic acid contributes to normal homocysteine metabolis
How To Use: Take one tablet daily with main meal of the day or as directed by your health professional. Do not exceed recommended dosage
